Great Simulater, Needs to re-program control settings for Joystick

This is a great flight simulater that is tons of fun to play and offers some educational benefit regarding different types of military aircraft. The only difficulty I have had with the game is changing the joystick controls. In other words, I accidentally miss - read the control designation and now when I pull back on the throttle, the flaps also come down. Similar scenario for a few other controls… And the worst part is I cannot change them back! the program won’t allow me to! Please fix this and make the changing of controls easier and actually do-able.
